Alex Britt – F**king Men

Alex Britt is part  of the new cast in F**king Men, a fascinating, funny and provocative story of sex, love and connection.

A modern retelling of Schnitzler’s infamous classic ‘La Ronde’, this dramatic comedy follows 10 men through a series of erotic encounters that change their lives in small but significant ways.

In a raw and updated new version for 2023, Tony-winning writer Joe DiPietro (‘Memphis’, ‘The Toxic Avenger,’ ‘What’s New Pussycat?’), takes a sharp and insightful look at the experiences of modern gay men as they navigate their conflicting desires for the comfort of monogamous love and the thrill of sexual freedom.

It starts previews at Waterloo East Theatre from Thursday 20 April. The strictly limited season is booking to Sunday 18 June.

Don Klass – Witness for the Prosecution

Agatha Christie’s Witness for the Prosecution has extended its run until April 2024. Don Klass will be joining the new cast taking the iconic production into its 7th year.

Alex Magliaro – Treason

Alex is playing the role of Joel Harrington in Treason, a new limited series for Netflix. 

When the past catches up with the newly appointed head of MI6, in the form of a Russian spy with whom he shares a complicated past, he is forced to question everything and everyone in his life. Jean-Baptiste Fillon – Liaison

Jean-Baptiste features in Virginie Brac’s Liaison, premiering on Apple TV+

The first ever French language series on the platform, it will feature a star-studded cast from both French and international screens including Vincent Cassel and Eva Green.

Jumoké Fashola – Ama’s Story

Jumoké stars in Sky Original Ama’s Story. Adding to the line-up of new shows is a one-off special released in the run up to World Book Day, Ama’s Story (4+). Created by a black British couple of Ghanian and Nigerian heritage, Ama’s Story is based on their daughter’s experience of being unable to find a book or character that represented her own background or culture. This inspired them to write and publish a number of picture books and an animated short based on Ama’s own experiences.

Told through the eyes of six-year-old Ama, the live action show sees Ama trying to decide on her favourite book to take to her school’s book day. Ama’s family help her to realise that she can use her imagination to write her own story, creating her own book full of all her favourite things including a Kente cloth jacket that reminds her of Ghana, which she wears proudly to school, and her talking cat Smokey narrated by international comedian Eddie Kadi.

Olissa Rogers – African Queens: Njinga

New doc-series African Queens: Njinga with casting by Olissa Rogers is now available to stream on Netflix.

African Queens: Njinga began with an idea from Jada Pinkett Smith, who was wondering how to talk to Willow about Black Queens in history – Jada went on to both narrate and executive produce the show.

The series takes a look at the extraordinary life of 17th Century Queen Njinga of Ndongo and Matamba (modern-day Angola). As the nation’s first female ruler, Njinga earned a reputation for her blend of political and diplomatic skill with military prowess, leading to her becoming an icon of resistance for many.

Aryè Campos – Rio Connection

Aryè stars in the series regular role of Amanda Singleton in new crime series Rio Connection.

The new SONY limited series is currently streaming in Canada. All episodes are now available to stream on TELUS and will now be airing in Germany, Switzerland and Austria on the SONY AXN channel weekly. 

Rio Connection takes place in the mid-1970s, when Italian and American authorities were closing in on three prominent figures of organized crime. On the run, the three men found themselves in Brazil, with new identities and a new goal: tropicalize the mafia.

Sam Lilja – Django

Sam Lilja will be starring as Lt. Roger Quinn in Django. Airing on Sky Atlantic, Django stars Matthias Schoenaerts, Nicholas Pinnock, Lisa VIcari and Noomi Rapace and is loosely based on the acclaimed Spaghetti Western movie from 1966.

In late 1800s Texas, Django, a dangerous wanted man, arrives in New Babylon, a city founded by John Ellis, where all outcasts are welcome.
