Ian Houghton – This House

Ian will be performing in This House at the Garrick Theatre from 21st November to 25th February 2017.

Is a political revolution coming? Will the Labour party collapse? Can the kingdom stay united?

It’s 1974. And Westminster is about to go to war with itself.

Set in the engine rooms of the House of Commons, James Graham’s This House dives deep into the secret world of the Whips who roll up their sleeves and go to often farcical lengths to influence an unruly chorus of MPs within the Mother of all Parliaments.

In an era of chaos, both hilarious and shocking, fist fights break out in the parliamentary bars, high-stake tricks and games are played, while sick or dying MPs are carried through the lobby to register their crucial votes as the government hangs by a thread.

Reginald Edwards – Scouse: A Comedy of Terrors

Reg is currently in rehearsals for the role of Macka in the production of Scouse: A Comedy of Terrors at The Dome in Liverpool from November 17th to December 15th.

The Liverpool People’s Party calls for Liverpool to be recognised as an independent republic by the UN, the EU, NATO and UEFA. The UK government objects and sends in the army…

“The people of Liverpool, and the Liverpool People’s Party, invite the Prime Minister to mind his own business.   Here in Liverpool, we’re nearer to space than we are to London.  London is two hundred miles away; space is only one hundred miles away. People here pay as much heed to the Prime Minister as we do to the man in the moon.” – Macka

SCOUSE (A COMEDY OF TERRORS) was first performed at the Everyman Theatre in February 1997 to sell out audiences.

Martin is playing the role of Stigwood and Pete Frampton and Dami is playing P.P Arnold in the touring production of All Or Nothing directed by Tony McHale.

All Or Nothing, The ‘Mod’ Musical is a trans-generational musical experience celebrating the unique sound of the iconic Mod band, THE SMALL FACES. Including an arsenal of brilliant hits like ‘Whatcha Gonna Do About It’, ‘All Or Nothing’, ‘Tin Soldier’, ‘Lazy Sunday’, ‘Here Comes The Nice’ and ‘Itchycoo Park’.

This exciting, poignant, and bittersweet tale is the stuff of Rock n Roll legend. The story of four charismatic young kids whose humour ‘attitude’ passion and, above all talent, rockets them into the ‘big time’; only to discover the path to fantastic success is heaving with exploitation, corruption, betrayal and ultimately tragedy. Their roller coaster journey in the music business is as vivid and colourful as their music. Their raw, soulful music inspired a whole new generation of stars including; Paul Weller and The Jam, Oasis, Blur, The Verve, Ocean Colour Scene, and The Arctic Monkeys. Not to mention millions of fans.
