October 2024 Recap

This October has been an incredibly busy and rewarding month for both our agents and talent at McLean-Williams, spanning theatre, film, and television. We’re thrilled to share some of the standout performances lighting up the stages and screens this season. 

In theatre, Noah Thallon takes the stage in Les Misérables, Kieran Usher appears in Fly More Than You Fall, and Damien Walsh performs in SuperYou. Each production offers a unique experience and is currently playing in theatres so don’t miss the chance to see them live!

In television, we’ve had a number of exciting premieres this October. David Bark-Jones and Victor Itang appear in Sweetpea, already gathering an impressive %85 percent on Rotten Tomatoes in under a month of airtime. David also joins the cast of The Diplomat, returning for its highly anticipated second season premiering tonight on Halloween! Meanwhile, The Franchise premiered on the 6th of October which features Gemma Acosta and Alex Magliaro as ‘Heidi’ and ‘Benji’.

In the film industry, the late Jack Brady can be seen in Venom: The Last Dance which hit the theatres last week. Additionally, Andreas Karras joins the cast of Hallmark’s The Groomsmen Second Chances bringing depth and humour to his role in this film about friendship, growth, and second chances. Finally, Jamie Bannerman and Richard Stride were recently awarded the Best Short Film Award at the 2024 Marbella Film Festival along with the other cast and crew for their short, Follycle.
