Andy has reprised the role of Perkins in the UK tour of the iconic musical Blood Brothers.
Written by Willy Russell, the legendary Blood Brothers tells the captivating and moving tale of twins who, separated at birth, grow up on opposite sides of the tracks, only to meet again with fateful consequences.
Originally based off a short play on two babies switched at birth Russell saw as a child, this nature vs nurture story would debut in 1983 before going on to win an Olivier for Best New Musical that same year.
In 1991 it would find a long-standing home in the West End at the Phoenix Theatre where it ran for 27 years with over 10,000 performances, making it the third longest running musical in West End history behind The Phantom of the Opera and Les Misérables, before closing in November 2012.
The show has seen boundless success all over the world including UK and international tours, runs on Broadway and Sydney, and various local adaptations.
