Amy played the King’s cousin the Earl of Westmorland in Shakespeare’s Henry V at the Petersfield Shakespeare Festival.
It tells the story of King Henry before and after the Battle of Agincourt in 1415, a now-legendary English victory over a massively outnumbering French force during the Hundred Years’ War. It’s the end of a series of history plays written by Shakespeare starting with Richard II and Henry IV Part 1 & Part 2.
This epic about conflict and warfare is enhanced by its setting, the picturesque fields of Bedales School just outside Petersfield in Hampshire, and ran from the 18th to the 24th of July.
