Ian Houghton films for Mr Selfridge

Ian Houghton will be appearing in the new series of Mr Selfridge.

The popular ITV drama will return to our screens for a highly anticipated third series which follows the American entreprenur behind the world famous London department store. The third series picks up the story in 1919 and Ian will be playing the role of a butler.

Cary Crankson to take leading role in the Nuffield’s The Saints

Cary Crankson will play the leading role of Kenny in the Nuffield’s production of The Saints.

Kenny Glynn is the world’s biggest saints fan and for 25 years he has been locked in a game of football against the world. On his 26th Birthday the world steps up its game and Kenny Glynn faces the match of his life as he takes on women, money and status with the help of his mates, his family and the guiding spirit of Matt Le Tissier. Can they conquer all the things the world is throwing at them?

This exciting new production by Luke Barnes will be directed by Matthew Dunster.

Damien Walsh to appear in Dreamboats and Miniskirts

Damien Walsh will be playing Barry in the upcoming tour of Dreamboats and Miniskirts.

It’s 1963, and the world is changing. Bobby and Laura’s hit single “Dreamboats and Petticoats” has not taken off. Norman and Sue have settled down to non-marital bliss – and a baby! But Ray and Donna seem blissfully happy…

The advent of the Beatles and the Merseyside sound is inspirational. But will it inspire Bobby and Laura to have one more shot at stardom – Norman to “get off the drains” and find that singing voice he has longed for, and Ray to realise his ambition and manage a really top pop act!?

Damien joins the cast of this brand new sequel having previously appeared in the original touring production of Dreamboats and Petticoats.

Reginald Edwards makes debut at the Finborough

Reginald Edwards will be appearing in the UK premiere of Rolf Hochhuth’s Sommer ’14- A Dance of Death at the Finborough.

This latest work from the Finborough, following their acclaimed productions of two previous works by Rolf Hochhuth – Soldiers and The Representative,  is a hugely ambitious epic vision of the Great War from one of Europe’s most acclaimed – and most controversial – dramatists.

Directed by Christopher Loscher and designed by Mike Lees, this new production will run at the Finborough from 5th-30th August.
