Lindsay Atherton and Megan Armstrong – CATS

Megan and Lindsay make their West End debut’s in Cats this Christmas.

Following on from a sell-out run in the West End last year, Cats played this year’s  summer season in Blackpool, before returning back to London’s West End.

Cats is at the London Palladium until 2nd January 2016.

Andrew Lloyd-Webber’s world-renowned musical is based on the poems of T.S Elliott and was one of the West End’s longest running shows, featuring songs such as The Jellicle Ball and Memory.

Emily-Jane Ashford & Calvin Hudson – Call Me Madam

Emily-Jane Ashford and Calvin Hudson will be appearing as ‘Princess Maria’ and ‘Kenneth’ respectively in Irving Berlin’s Call Me Madam, which will be playing in Merch and Marnach, Luxembourg over Christmas.

A satire on politics and foreign policy that spoofs America’s penchant for lending billions of dollars to needy countries, it centers on Sally Adams, a well-meaning but ill-informed socialite widow, who is appointed United States Ambassador to the fictional European country of Lichtenburg. While there, she charms the local gentry, especially Cosmo Constantine, while her press attache Kenneth Gibson falls in love with Princess Maria.

Brian Caspe – The Zookeepers Wife

Brian has just filmed a cameo role in The Zookeepers Wife as a German Soldier. The film tells the story of the Warsaw Zoo keepers, Jan and Antonina Zabinski, who helped save hundreds of people and animals during the Nazi invasion. Produced by Scion Films and Directed by Niki Caro.

The Zookeepers Wife will be on general theatrical release in 2016

Stefanie Powers – GOTTA DANCE – Blog

Stefanie is writing a blog “Doing A Broadway Musical…….”

She will be blogging about her experiences on being a member of an original, big budget musical headed for Chicago and then onto Broadway.

GOTTA DANCE is story of a seniors’ dance team conscripted to perform in a half time show at a basketball game played by the New Jersey Nets, as depicted in a documentary called GOTTA DANCE filmed and produced by Dori Berinstein who is the driving force and lead producer behind bringing this story to the musical stage. The show is being directed by the fabulous “Kinky Booted” Jerry Mitchell.

Tisha Merry – Coronation Street

Tisha’s character of Steph in Coronation Street is being taken to hell and back in a new storyline.

Coronation Street are known for tackling some hard hitting issues, from teenage pregnancy to mental illness.

Their latest storyline, is a very 21st century problem. Revenge porn.

Tisha’s on-screen role is taken head-on when Steph Britton’s life turned upside-down by ex-boyfriend, Jamie.

The Corrie storyline is said to leave viewers in shock when Jamie, played by former Hollyoaks actor James Atherton, tries to blackmail the barmaid for quick cash.

Shane Landers – Chicago

Shane is currently appearing as ‘Spirit of Fosse’ in the German production of Chicago. The production opens in Berlin this week and then continues on to Munich.

Chicago is the kiss-and-tell story of chorus girl Roxie who kills her lover; Velma Kelly, the glamorous double-murderer and Billy Flynn, the slick and manipulative lawyer keeping them from death row while promising to make them stars, has all the topicality of our celebrity-seeking times.

Written by John Kander and Fred Ebb, Chicago has choreography by the legendary Bob Fosse and won the Olivier Award for Outstanding Musical Production. Chicago features songs such as All That Jazz, Cell Block Tango and Razzle Dazzle.

Bethan Cullinane – Twelfth Night

Bethan is appearing in Twelfth Night at The Rose Theatre.

This month Natasha Rickman conducts a gender experiment. A company of actors will rotate four vibrant 90 minute versions of  Twelfth Night. All female, all male, cast play own gender, cast play opposite gender.

Robin Kingsland – Romeo & Juliet

Robin is playing the role of Montague in a Sheffield Theatres Production of Romeo & Juliet, which stars Freddie Fox as Romeo with Morfydd Clark as Juliet.

Julian Woolford – Comrade Rockstar

This evening there is a concert version of Julian’s new musical Comrade Rockstar to be performed at The Ivy Theatre, GSA, University of Surrey.

1986 East Berlin. Dean Reed is one of the biggest selling record artists behind the Iron Curtain while no-one in his Colorado hometown knows his name.
